Digital Mandalas
Mandala, which is the Sanskrit word for circle, is a traditional art form in the Buddhist philosophy; traditionally made with colorful sand for symbolic intents and purposes. Here at WGA - our 6-8th graders study this ancient art and use contemporary technology to design their own symbolic DIGITAL Mandala; focusing on Radial Symmetry, Layering, Craftsmanship and Theme.
Digital Collages
High School Digital Art students apply Design Principles and Photoshop Skills to create thematic collages; focusing on Theme, Balance, Unity and Juxtaposition.
